Exhibition on exemplary figures of revolutionary soldiers by enemy during Anti-American War

(BNP) - On April 21st, at Bac Ninh Museum No. 1 (Bac Giang Ward), the Association of Revolutionary Soldiers Imprisoned by the Enemy in Bac Ninh Province, in coordination with Bac Ninh Museum No. 1 and No. 2 and the People's Committee of Bac Giang Ward, inaugurated a thematic exhibition titled "The Everlasting Exemplary Figures of Revolutionary Soldiers from Bac Ninh Province Imprisoned by the Enemy During the Anti-American War."

The delegates cut the ribbon to officially open the exhibition.

Attending the opening ceremony were: Mr. Le Xuan Loi, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; representatives from the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department; the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism; and a large number of officials, youth union members, and students.

Bac Ninh is land rich in historical, cultural, and revolutionary traditions, the birthplace of many prominent pioneering leaders such as Ngo Gia Tu, Nguyen Van Cu, Hoang Quoc Viet, Le Quang Dao... During the resistance wars, tens of thousands of outstanding sons and daughters of the homeland went to fight, many of whom bravely sacrificed their lives or shed their blood for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland.

According to statistics, the province currently has more than 37,200 martyrs, nearly 2,900 Heroic Vietnamese Mothers, approximately 37,800 wounded and sick soldiers; 51 collectives and 47 individuals have been awarded or posthumously awarded the title of Hero of the People's Armed Forces. Bac Giang ward alone has 864 martyrs, 3 Heroic Vietnamese Mothers, and 679 wounded and sick soldiers.

The exhibition presents to the public nearly 500 rich images, documents, and artifacts, vividly recreating the struggle of revolutionary soldiers on the prison front. Many models and documents are meticulously constructed, contributing to highlighting the indomitable spirit and unwavering will of the people of Bac Ninh in harsh circumstances.

Young people visit the exhibition and listen to veterans recount historical stories.

Over the years, the Association of Revolutionary Soldiers Imprisoned by the Enemy in Bac Ninh Province has collaborated with the Provincial Museum to organize many thematic exhibitions in various localities, creating a widespread impact in the community. This activity not only contributes to honoring those who contributed but also plays an important role in educating the younger generation about ideals, ethics, lifestyle, and patriotism.

A cultural performance recreates the image of revolutionary soldiers imprisoned by the enemy on stage.

Through this exhibition, the public gains a deeper understanding of the immense sacrifices and contributions of revolutionary soldiers who were captured and imprisoned by the enemy, while also appreciating the value of peace, independence, and freedom today. It is also an opportunity to recall glorious historical chapters, awaken national pride, and instill a sense of responsibility in each individual in the cause of building and developing their homeland.

The thematic exhibition "The Enduring Example of Revolutionary Soldiers from Bac Ninh Province Captured and Imprisoned by the Enemy During the Anti-American Imperialist War" is open to the public and visitors from April 21st to May 3rd at Bac Ninh Museum No. 1.
