(BNP) - Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Hong Thai has just signed Decision No. 242-QD/TU on the establishment of the Provincial Steering Committee for the implementation of the "Double-Digit" Economic Growth Scenario for 2026 and the period 2026-2030.
Secretary Nguyen Hong Thai is appointed as the Head of the Provincial Steering Committee for the implementation of the "Double-Digit" Economic Growth Scenario for 2026 and the period 2026-2030.
According to the Decision, the Provincial Party Committee established the Provincial Steering Committee for the implementation of the "Double-Digit" Economic Growth Scenario for 2026 and the period 2026-2030, chaired by Comrade Nguyen Hong Thai, Member of the Central Committee of the Party and Provincial Party Secretary.
Comrade Pham Hoang Son, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, serves as the Standing Deputy Head of the Provincial Steering Committee. Comrades Nguyen Thi Huong, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Nguyen Viet Oanh, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; and Tran Huy Phuong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, serve as Deputy Heads of the Provincial Steering Committee. Members of the Steering Committee include members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Committee, and heads of relevant provincial departments, agencies, and organizations.
The Steering Committee is responsible for issuing working regulations and developing work programs and plans to implement its tasks. The Department of Finance is the Standing Agency of the Steering Committee. The tasks of the members are assigned by the Head of the Steering Committee.
The Steering Committee establishes a support team headed by the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee in charge of planning, transportation, and construction. The Head of the Steering Committee uses the seal of the Provincial Party Committee. The Deputy Heads and members of the Steering Committee shall use the seal of their respective agencies and units when performing their assigned tasks.
According to the Resolution of the Provincial Party Committee's Executive Board, 1st term, in 2026 and the period 2026-2030, Bac Ninh province will maximize its potential and advantages, promote investment attraction, build synchronous infrastructure… maintain double-digit economic growth, contribute to shifting the economic structure towards urbanization, and build Bac Ninh province into a centrally-governed city before 2030.
