This year, the province has nearly 29,800 hectares of lychee cultivation with an estimated production of 125,000 tonnes. Early-season lychees are expected to yield about 50,000 tonnes, while the main crop is forecast to produce 75,000 tonnes.
Lychee consumption has shown positive results since the start of the harvest. Domestic sales exceeded 17,000 tonnes, accounting for 57.7% of total consumption, while exports reached nearly 13,000 tonnes, or 42.3%. China continues to be the largest export market, importing more than 12,500 tonnes.
Several key growing areas recorded strong sales, including Phuc Hoa Commune with nearly 10,000 tonnes, Phuong Son Commune with around 3,500 tonnes, and Nam Duong Commune with approximately 2,000 tonnes.
To support distribution during the peak harvest season, the province has coordinated with relevant ministries and agencies to facilitate customs clearance and maintain priority transport routes for fresh lychees. Supporting industries, including packaging, preservation, and logistics services, have also ensured sufficient supplies to meet harvesting and transportation needs.
