(BNP) - The People's Committee of Bac Ninh province has just issued Decision No. 721/QD-UBND approving the investment policy and assigning the investor to implement the Social Housing Project in the Northeast Urban Area, Bac Giang ward.

According to the Decision, the investor implementing the project is the Joint Venture of Arita Joint Stock Company and HNASA Joint Stock Company, with Arita Joint Stock Company assigned as the project investor.
The project will be built on an area of approximately 3.67 hectares in Bac Giang ward, comprising 5 social housing buildings with 20 above-ground floors and 1 basement floor, with a total construction floor area of approximately 234,500 m². The basement floor will be used for parking; the first, second, and third floors will be used for commercial, service, community, public, kindergarten, and technical facilities serving the building. Floors 3 to 20 house residential apartments, public spaces, and shared technical facilities. The building's technical systems include: electrical systems, lightning protection, lighting, telecommunications, waste collection, ventilation, water supply and drainage, and fire protection. The project is expected to provide approximately 1,900 social housing units for sale, ranging in size from 25m² to 77m², accommodating around 3,950 people.
The preliminary total investment for the project is over VND 3,091 billion. According to the plan, within 12 months of investment approval, the investor will complete all procedures related to investment, land, construction, and environment, and commence construction. The project is expected to be completed and put into operation after 36 months of construction.
The Provincial People's Committee requires the investor to implement the project in accordance with the planning, ensuring the progress and quality of the construction, publicly and transparently determining the selling and rental prices of social housing, and fully complying with all legal regulations on investment, construction, land, environment, and fire prevention and control.
