(BNP) - On the evening of May 28, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Hoang Son received and worked with Hetero Labs Group (India) led by Mr. B. Murali Krishna Reddy - Director of Emerging Markets, who came to survey and learn about investment cooperation opportunities for a high-tech medicine and biopharmaceuticals manufacturing factory complex meeting European standards. Accompanying the delegation were representatives of the Drug Administration of Vietnam (Ministry of Health) and the Vietnam Pharmaceutical Corporation.

Speaking at the working session, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Hoang Son emphasized that Bac Ninh province always paid attention to attracting high-tech, environmentally friendly projects with large added value, especially in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, and biotechnology. At the same time, he introduced the potentials and advantages of the province in terms of transport infrastructure, high-quality human resources, the system of industrial parks and clusters, and Bac Ninh's enterprise support mechanisms.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee shared that Bac Ninh always had about 400 to 500 hectares of clean land available to attract investors; the province also committed to accompanying and creating favorable conditions for investors to study, survey, and implement projects in accordance with legal regulations. He also requested relevant departments and sectors to continue coordinating and supporting Hetero Labs Group during the process of exploring cooperation opportunities in Bac Ninh.

At the working session, Mr. B. Murali Krishna Reddy, representative of Hetero Labs Group, thanked the warm welcome of the leaders of the Bac Ninh Provincial People's Committee. He also gave a brief introduction to the development process, production capacity, and research of high-tech pharmaceutical products and biopharmaceuticals of the unit; at the same time, he expressed the desire to learn about investment opportunities in Bac Ninh province in this field.

In particular, he expressed high appreciation for the favorable geographical location, synchronous industrial infrastructure, and open investment environment of the province; at the same time, he expected to soon implement cooperation activities in high-tech pharmaceuticals. He hoped that the provincial leaders would continue to care and create favorable conditions for the enterprise to develop if selected for investment in Bac Ninh. He also affirmed that today's working session would be the basis to continue researching, considering, and building a long-term strategic investment with the locality.

Previously, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Van Thinh and the leader of Hetero Labs Group conducted a field survey at Thuan Thanh 3 Industrial Park, Subdivision B, invested by Trung Quy Bac Ninh Investment Joint Stock Company. Introducing the area to the Group, Mr. Pham Van Thinh also stated that Bac Ninh was currently developing many large, modern industrial parks with full functions to meet the needs of large corporations and multinational corporations. Among them, Thuan Thanh 3 Industrial Park, Subdivision B was a typical example. Currently, this was one of the largest industrial parks in Bac Ninh province in particular and Vietnam in general with a scale of about 330 hectares, a total investment of 4,250 billion VND, attracting 45 secondary investors from countries such as the US, France, Japan, South Korea, and China./.
