(BNP) – On the afternoon of May 20, the Trade Union of Goertek Vietnam (Nam Son Industrial Park – Hap Linh) and the company’s leadership jointly organized the “Trade Union Meal” program for nearly 60,000 union members and workers. Ms. Tran Thi Van, member of the Provincial Party Committee and Deputy Head of the Provincial Delegation of National Assembly Deputies attended the program.

Goertek Vietnam began investing in Bac Ninh province in 2013 with its first project in Que Vo 1 Industrial Park, and later expanded operations to Nam Son – Hap Linh Industrial Park in April 2024. To date, the company has become one of the largest foreign-invested enterprises in the province, creating jobs for approximately 60,000 workers, with an average monthly income ranging from VND 10 million to VND 14 million per employee. The company also actively participated in and supports many charitable programs, contributing to ensuring social welfare in the province. To date, 100% of its workers are members of the Trade Union.

In response to Workers’ Month 2026, the Trade Union of Goertek Vietnam launched the “Excellent Worker – Creative Worker” emulation movement, attracting more than 3,000 initiatives from employees. The Trade Union also organized a voluntary blood donation program, collecting 660 units of blood; inaugurated and put into operation the A9 canteen for workers; and presented gifts to employees facing difficult circumstances, including 43 workers with disabilities currently employed by the company.

Speaking at the program, Deputy Head Tran Thi Van acknowledged and highly appreciated the proactive approach of Goertek Vietnam Company and its Trade Union in implementing practical activities aimed at supporting workers.

Deputy Head Tran Thi Van suggested that the company’s leadership continue creating favorable conditions for the grassroots trade union to operate effectively in the coming time, while organizing more practical and meaningful activities to care for workers’ well-being, not only during Workers’ Month but also through long-term initiatives aimed at gradually improving their quality of life.
The Deputy Head also expressed his hope that the company’s workers would continue to strengthen solidarity, uphold a strong sense of responsibility, dynamism, and creativity, strictly observe labor discipline, and continuously improve their professional skills. She encouraged them to remain committed to the company as their second home, thereby contributing to the sustainable development of the enterprise and making meaningful contributions to the overall growth of the province in the coming period.

On this occasion, the Deputy Head Tran Thi Van and members of the delegation presented 150 gifts to workers facing difficult circumstances. The Provincial Labor Federation also awarded Goertek Vietnam the title of “Outstanding Enterprise for Workers in 2026,” and presented Certificates of Merit to 15 outstanding individuals participating in the “Excellent Worker – Creative Worker” emulation movement in 2026.
