(BNP) - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Vice Chairman of the Bac Ninh Provincial People's Committee Pham Van Thinh participated in a livestream session to introduce, promote, and sell early-season lychees in Nam Duong commune.

The program was organized by the Department of Industry and Trade in coordination with TikTok Shop, Viettel Post, and the Nam Duong Commune People's Committee, attracting a large number of consumers watching and interacting online.
The livestream session was organized in two time slots: from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM and from 2:00 PM to after 5:00 PM on May 20.
Attending the program were representative leaders from several provincial departments and sectors. Notably, the couple of national football team athlete Nguyen Quang Hai, the couple of actress Anh Dao, along with a large number of TikTokers from across the country, came to participate in the program.
At the program, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and the livestream crew directly introduced to consumers the outstanding characteristics of Luc Ngan early lychees in particular, and lychee fruit from Bac Ninh province in general; the process of caring for, harvesting, and packaging products to ensure quality standards and food safety, as well as the development potential of key and characteristic local agricultural products.
Here, Mr. Pham Van Thinh also replied to and answered many questions related to the quality control of lychee products; simultaneously, he provided information on the output and harvest time of this year's lychee crop, as well as solutions to support consumption and ensure product outlets.
The open and direct sharing from the provincial leader receives active attention and response from a large number of viewers.
Speaking at the livestream session, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Van Thinh stated: “Through this activity, Bac Ninh province hopes people across the country will know about the quality of Bac Ninh lychees, seeing with their own eyes what the lychee fruit here looks like and its sweetness.”

According to the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, within digital platforms, e-commerce created even more favorable conditions for lychee growers to easily introduce and sell their products.
Bac Ninh province was currently not only promoting e-commerce transactions for lychee fruit but also aiming for all products from agricultural produce to industrial, household, and tourism products, etc. The presence of the provincial leader in this livestream session was also the province's commitment to the quality of Bac Ninh lychee fruit as well as the key, characteristic agricultural products and OCOP products of the province.
Through the two livestream sessions, there were more than 832,000 viewers, and the Organizing Committee closed 4,827 orders for lychees with a total weight of more than 31 tons, along with 537 bottles of honey and nearly 3 quintals of Chu noodles.
A large number of customers within and outside the province participated by following, commenting, sharing, expressing interest and affection, and highly appreciating the quality of Bac Ninh lychees.
This was not the first time Mr. Pham Van Thinh had directly participated in promoting agricultural products on digital platforms. During the 2025 lychee season, he also participated in a livestream session to promote and support lychee consumption within the framework of the "Luc Ngan Lychee Week - Pride of Vietnamese Agricultural Products" program, contributing to spreading the image of lychees to a large number of domestic and foreign consumers.
Through livestreaming activities, Bac Ninh continued to promote the application of digital transformation in agricultural product consumption, expanding markets, and supporting residents and cooperatives to improve production and business efficiency.
This was also one of the prominent side activities of the 2026 conference to promote the consumption of lychees and key, characteristic agricultural products and OCOP products of Bac Ninh province, which is expected to take place on May 28./.
