(BNP) - On the afternoon of May 28th, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Van Thinh received a delegation of the Commerce Department - China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), led by Mr. Hung Chan Han, Head of the Trade and Investment Promotion Department.

At the reception, Mr. Hung Xan Han expressed his appreciation for the warm welcome from Bac Ninh provincial leaders and noted that many Chinese enterprises, experts, and workers are currently living and working in the province. However, infrastructure for hotels, commercial offices, and services for foreign businesses remains limited.
Through this visit, Chinese enterprises expressed their desire to explore the investment environment and promote cooperation in Bac Ninh in areas such as hotels, cold storage, logistics, and commercial service infrastructure, thereby helping meet the needs of foreign businesses and contributing to local socio-economic development.

On behalf of the delegation, Mr. Hung Xan Han expressed his hope to continue receiving attention and support from provincial leaders and relevant departments and sectors in understanding investment mechanisms, policies, and procedures in order to soon implement cooperative projects.
At the reception, representatives of Chinese enterprises also discussed issues related to land leasing demand, investment planning, technical infrastructure, construction material supply, and conditions supporting production and business activities in Bac Ninh.

Speaking at the reception, Vice Chairman Pham Van Thinh expressed his pleasure in welcoming the delegation from the CCPIT on their visit to explore the investment environment in Bac Ninh. He emphasized that the province consistently prioritizes improving the investment and business climate while creating favorable conditions for both domestic and foreign enterprises to operate efficiently and sustainably.

The Vice Chairman stated that Bac Ninh is currently one of the country’s most dynamic industrial centers, attracting investment from many major global corporations and enterprises. Alongside industrial development, the province has also focused on investing in urban infrastructure, commerce, logistics, and high-quality services to meet the needs of the business community and foreign experts.

The Vice Chairman assigned provincial departments and agencies to support the CCPIT delegation and Chinese enterprises in accessing information and exploring investment opportunities, while expressing his hope to strengthen connectivity and promote cooperation in line with Bac Ninh province’s development orientation.
Following the reception, the CCPIT delegation visited and surveyed Bac Giang International Logistics Co., Ltd., along with several projects of Dai Hoang Son Joint Stock Company and Tuta Group Joint Stock Company.
