(BNP) - On May 25th (local time), a Bac Ninh provincial delegation led by Ms. Nguyen Thi Huong, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Head of the Bac Ninh Provincial Delegation of National Assembly Deputies, visited and worked with the Vietnamese Embassy in the United States.

During the meeting, Standing Deputy Secretary Nguyen Thi Huong provided an overview of Bac Ninh's socio-economic development; emphasizing that the province currently ranks 5th in the country in terms of economic scale, leads in export turnover, and is an attractive destination for foreign investors.

She affirmed that the working visit to the United States is of practical significance in promoting trade, investment cooperation, and friendly relations between Bac Ninh and its US partners. She also requested the Embassy to continue supporting connections, promoting trade, and inviting US businesses to survey and invest in Bac Ninh. Support will be provided to help bring lychees and other key products of the province to greater access in the US market.

By 2025, the import-export turnover between Bac Ninh and US partners is expected to reach USD 22.3 billion, with exports accounting for nearly USD 20 billion. Currently, Bac Ninh has 27 investment projects from the US with a total capital of approximately USD 250 million.
